Blogging...

I've decided to start blogging again. I am unsure of how it will turn out, or how consistent it will be.

Blogging (as a verb) has a way giving you an illusion that you are standing on the surface of a 19x19 sq. ft. soap box, screaming "the way everything should be" (according to you, that is) to the world around you.

For those with influence, blogging is an excellent tool to 1) prove that you are politically correct to your followers or 2) promote yourself or 3) to connect with those you have influence on.

For those that have a bark far worse than their bite, blogging is an excellent self esteem booster. Screaming at the world....indirectly.

But for me, writing is a key to my sanity. Approval of what I write is not a key to my sanity.

"Freedom of Speech" is a living oxymoron; beautiful, but dangerous. My words play Red-Rover with these two adjectives 24/7. I speak from my heart and not from my brain. I am not proud of the previous statement...I'm working on introducing these two organs to each other in hopes that they will work well together one day. Maybe they'll be a good team.

So here I am, blogging. This should be fun.
